And we hope you make the best work of your career here. The Designer is a member of the Creative team at Academy, a visual thinker with a deep love of design craft who brings ideas to life across static, video, and social-first formats. They play an important role in the execution of our creative briefs for various campaigns and projects by working collaboratively with all other departments to ensure we’re producing consistent, fluid, content-first creative that works.On a day-to-day basis, the Designer will be responsible for:Execution of creative briefs by taking conceptual work done by Art Directors and other team members to bring to life creative ideas through visual toolkits, mockups and other design mediums. Design assets for various social platforms, brand books, print, out-of-home, and experiential media. Versioning supers & treatments for photo and video content. Staying abreast of design best practices, technologies and trends to ensure format and platform nuances are a guiding principle of our creative workEdit and adapt design-centric video content for social, using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other editing platforms to ensure work feels native to each platform Use strategic research and insights to make informed ideas surrounding creative that works across various marketing channels—eg AI tools for versioning, emerging platforms, etc. Coming forward with solutions for pushing work further and improving upon ideas within the design execution phaseReceiving feedback  and implementing accordinglyEnsuring that content is always on-brand, visually appealing and value-drivenPresenting work internally and on occasion, externally to clients. Additional responsibilities as required. What You Bring 3–5 years years of experience with a strong portfolio A high EQ.A genuine passion for design craft with a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling across static and motion. A relentless pursuit of clarity and organization.Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to hold direct, candid conversations with a calm, constructive demeanor.Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere), Figma, CapCut, and Google Slides, with experience and a strong interest in motion design and After Effects.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple·       projects simultaneously.Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for design and content trends.A team-oriented mentality.Why Academy Because you want to make your mark on a high-potential, evolving agency. Because you want to make work that matters.Because you believe social-first work can be smart, strategic, and creatively world-class.Because you want to lead a team that punches above its weight — and has fun doing it.Note: the Company reserves the right to change, add-to and remove the duties listed above and you agree that any such change does not constitute constructive dismissal.Equal Opportunity Employer: Academy is an equal-opportunity employer committed to promoting diversity in the workplace.
