About the role As a Designworker, you will live and breathe beautiful design, sweat your craft on the tools, stay upbeat, and have infectious enthusiasm.
You will be pivotal in creating design projects with your creative leader, building on brilliant ideas with craft and skill, always pushing the work forward. What you'll do Maintain and push the design standard, individually and within the team. Work with and deliver to the standard and expectations of the creative leadership. Collaborate with strategist /creative strategist /design director / creative director on idea generation, understanding the brief and the clients’ needs. Implement projects from the conceptual stage or the design stage with support from our Executive Creative Director and the team.
Take responsibility for delivering tasks, setting priorities in collaboration with your creative lead to meet expectations and deadlines while being mindful of budgets. Present your work to clients with the support of your creative lead. Be able to articulate your ideas with clarity and confidence. Share your knowledge of design and awareness of current global trends to inspire your team and clients. Contribute to a happy and healthy Designworks team culture. What you’ll bring5+ years of industry experience as a Designer. Be naturally curious about the world around you, always hungry to keep learning.
Never be afraid to have an opinion or ask others for theirs. Build positive, collaborative relationships with a strong point of view and a healthy respect for the experience of more senior creatives. Be generous, never precious or protective, sharing ownership of work in a collective culture that’s “We”, not “I”. Be open-minded, flexible and relentlessly positive in getting things done and getting the best out of each other.
Be skilled in using font editing software.
