Job Description

Desktop Support Engineer 6 month contract Dublin City Centre (2/3 days onsite)Responsibilities:Provision of first line support through onsite Techbar and walk-up services,Second line support for incidents raised through the Service Desk,Incident investigation and resolution,Completion of software and hardware installation requests, Device build and deployment, Software license and hardware procurement,Meeting room & audio-visual technology support,Support for mobile phone corporate services,Hardware and software asset management through ServiceNow and related systems,Knowledge base content creation and revision.What you’ll need to be successful on the role: The ideal candidate will have/be:At least 2 years' experience in a related technical support role,A third level IT or Business qualification,Good working knowledge of IT business technologies; Windows O/S, PC hardware, Networks, Microsoft 365 and major cloud & on-premise business applications,Experience of enterprise endpoint management tools such as MECM, InTune and Active Directory,Experience of ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM system,Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills,Strong documentation skills and adherence to key ITIL processes, Excellent communication skills (written and verbal),Motivated to deliver a first-class customer service,Proven ability to self-manage and report on workload.
