You will provide support for both Mac and Windows environments, administer Office 365 applications, and utilize Freshservice as the primary IT service management (ITSM) platform. In this role, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring exceptional customer service and timely resolution of requests.Our client values building a highly skilled technical team with not only strong IT expertise but also an understanding of business needs. Each team member is encouraged to bring unique strengths that contribute to organizational success and customer satisfaction.RESPONSIBILITIESEnd-User SupportDeliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows and macOS operating systems.Install, configure, and update hardware, software, and drivers.Manage IT support tickets in Freshservice, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.Assist employees with Office 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.System Administration & MaintenanceCreate, manage, and maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365.Configure and maintain endpoint security tools such as antivirus, encryption, and patch management.Perform system updates, patches, and security hardening.Support VPN and remote access technologies.IT OperationsTrack, document, and close service requests and incidents in Freshservice, ensuring SLA compliance.Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software assets.Contribute to knowledge base documentation and develop user training materials.Support employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning devices, accounts, and access.Collaboration & ProjectsCollaborate with network, systems, and security teams to escalate issues and support IT projects.Participate in desktop upgrades, software deployments, and infrastructure refresh initiatives.Recommend improvements to IT processes to enhance the end-user experience.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 3 years’ experience in desktop support or IT support roles.Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 and macOS administration.Practical experience with Office 365 applications, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.Familiarity with IT service desk tools, ideally Freshservice (or comparable platforms such as ServiceNow or Zendesk).Working knowledge of Active Directory, group policies, and user account administration.Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and customer service skills.PREFERRED SKILLSIndustry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) to support automation.Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) solutions.INTERESTEDWe are actively submitting candidates for this role.
