Drive high-impact change across Europe and support career paths for people from all walks of life.As a Program Manager, you'll oversee strategic initiatives, manage complex projects, and build strong partnerships across Amazon’s Customer Fulfillment Operations. Lead national and EU-wide projects that strengthen Amazon's long-term talent pipeline Enable skill development through impactful apprenticeship pathways Collaborate with senior stakeholders and influence at scale Drive data-informed decisions and continuous program improvement Be part of a passionate, mission-driven team operating across 9 countriesKey job responsibilities Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of apprenticeship programs in Germany Develop and implement best practices across existing schemes, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability Support the creation of new apprenticeship pathways from concept to pilot and full-scale implementation Monitor and report on program performance, including progression, retention, engagement, quality, and cost effectiveness Ensure compliance with national apprenticeship regulations and internal quality standards Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and initiatives Identify, prioritize, and propose new apprenticeship initiatives aligned with EU Operations strategic goals Lead critical program decisions (e.g., make-or-buy training delivery), develop training materials, and contribute to the setup of training infrastructure where neededA day in the lifeThis new role supports the strategic expansion of apprenticeships in Germany, especially for RME (Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering). Your day-to-day will be varied and often ambiguous, requiring strong coordination across local and EU teams (RME, Talent Acquisition, Workplace Health & Safety, Amazon Web Services), General Managers, and Work Councils. You’ll also engage with external partners like Chambers of Commerce and training providers to ensure program compliance and quality. From designing new schemes to resolving blockers and analyzing performance, you'll help scale programs that address critical skills gaps and support Amazon’s long-term talent pipeline.About The TeamWe are a passionate, fast-moving team of 30+ L&D professionals across Europe, committed to shaping the future of Amazon through high-impact educational programs. In Germany, you'll join a growing team with one senior program manager and two dedicated administrators, collaborating with local and EU partners to build programs that develop the next generation of Amazon talent.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree Speak, write, and read fluently in German Experience in program or project management Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL Speak, write, and read fluently in English Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teamsPreferred Qualifications Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Experience leading process improvements Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization Experience building processes, project management, and schedulesAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
