Job Description

Position Overview Key Responsibilities:

FX Trading Pricing, trading and risk managing the Pakistan FX and Fixed Income bookResponsible for providing FX and Fixed Income liquidityAnalyzing market structure and the opportunities and threats there-inAdherence to risk limits assigned to desk and regulatory controlsInteracting with clients, sales and internal counterparties in other trading and coverage functions to increase market transparency and to generate new businessBuilding a sustainable business and market shareCompliance with local, global and internal regulations, conduct standards and controls and improve existing control & conduct framework FX Sales Assist in marketing & selling bank's treasury flow sales products such as FX (Spot and Forward), Fixed Income as well as money market products to both corporate and institutional clientsCommunicating with corporate clients & informing them about market trends, forecasts etc.

Prepare & circulate FX Rate sheet on daily basisActively monitor spreads on FX transactions and ensure they are within prescribed limitsRun FX Sales Blotter and maintain deal sheet dashboard on daily basis. Reconciling deals with requisite operations departments and booking corporate and institutional sales deal tickets in requisite systemsClosely co-ordinate with RM's on Investment & FX related issues and assists in settling queries. Assist in maintaining client wise MIS. Act as key contact for FI counterparties onboarded onshore.

Economic Research & Support Research, collect, analyze and compile economic issues and data;Support FX and Transaction Banking Relationship Management teams on improvement of client offering via research reports and presentationsAbility to provide advice on economic topics and overview of local and macro-economic topics on basis of research conductedYour Skills And QualificationsMinimum Bachelor’s degreeStrong analytical, numeracy, problem solving and decision making skills. Experience in Cash Management, Trade finance products is preferred. Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills; ability to deal with people at all levels and seniority of an organizationStrong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
