Developer Advocate – SoftPOS

Our team of 50+ passionate professionals, representing 20 different nationalities, is based in Copenhagen, where we foster a flat, entrepreneurial culture that values initiative and creativity.The position We’re looking for our first Developer Advocate to bridge between our integration partners and our product. You’ll ensure integrators get the most out of our SDKs, APIs, and libraries by making onboarding fast and frictionless.In This Role, You’llBuild demos, sample apps, and tutorials that bring our SDKs and APIs to life Create engaging technical content such as articles, videos, and sample code Actively engage with integrators via Slack & Zendesk to answer questions and solve problems Translate complex payment and integration concepts into clear, developer-friendly steps Bring developer feedback directly into our product roadmap, ensuring their voices shape the future of the Softpay product This is a unique opportunity to influence how developers integrate with our product, impacting adoption and customer success worldwide.What You’ll DoDeveloper EngagementBuild relationships with integrators Act as a trusted technical partner, answering questions and removing roadblocks Represent Softpay towards integration partners Product & Technical ExpertiseGain a deep understanding of our SDKs, APIs, and payments ecosystem Stay on top of industry trends in mobile payments, fintech, and Android/ iOS SoftPOS development Share knowledge and insights with both partners and internal teams Content CreationProduce developer-friendly resources: documentation, code samples, and sample apps Create compelling demos for showing off Softpay’s capabilties Ensure all content is clear, practical, and provides the right steppingstones for developers to succeed Publish and maintain resources on our developer portal Advocacy & FeedbackBe the voice of integrators inside Softpay Translate integrator needs into actionable product feedback Collaborate with internal teams to improve the integrator experience What We’re Looking ForBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 4+ years' experience as a mobile software developer Proven experience of Android development, REST APIs, JSON, Xamarin/MAUI, Java, and Kotlin Experience of iOS and Swift is desirable Knowledge of payments and POS applications is helpful Experience in a customer-facing or developer support-facing role Strong communicator in English, whether writing documentation, recording videos, or presenting to integrators Passion for helping developers succeed, with the empathy to see things from their perspective Why Join Softpay?
