Our flagship product, Suadeo Self Data Services (SDS), is a sovereign and comprehensive data platform offering data governance, quality control, analysis, and business value.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role based in Dubai for a DevOps Engineer specializing in Multi-Cloud, Sovereign, and on-premises systems. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing automated solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), managing system administration tasks, and ensuring high-quality software development and deployment. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Linux-based environments, setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.Main Responsibilities1. CI/CD Pipeline ManagementDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or equivalent toolsAutomate build, test, and deployment workflows for containerized applicationsEnsure release processes are efficient, consistent, and secure2. Infrastructure as Code & AutomationDevelop and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Helm, and AnsibleAutomate provisioning and scaling of Kubernetes clusters (OpenShift is a plus)Implement self-healing, reconciliation, and automated monitoring mechanismsSupport automation across multi-cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP or similar), on-premises, and sovereign cloud environments3. Containerization & OrchestrationManage and optimize Docker containers and Kubernetes deploymentsMonitor application performance and tune resources accordinglyImplement best practices for container security, lifecycle management, and multi-environment deployments4. Multi-Cloud, On-Prem & Sovereign Cloud OperationsManage deployments across public cloud, private cloud, sovereign cloud, and on-premises infrastructureMaintain secure connectivity, identity management, and compliance across hybrid setupsSupport backup, disaster recovery, and observability strategies tailored to hybrid architectures5. Monitoring, Logging & Incident ResponseSet up infrastructure monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar toolsDefine and maintain logging and alerting systems (e.g., Loki, ELK stack)Troubleshoot production issues and participate in root cause analysis6.
