If so, we want to hear from you. Arcus FM are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team, helping to bridge the gap between development and operations. You’ll play a key role in automating infrastructure, managing cloud environments, and optimising the software delivery process. You’ll be working remotely, with occasional visits to our sites in Redditch or Cirencester. What You'll Be DoingWhat You’ll Be DoingDesigning, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deploymentAutomating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and other IaC toolsManaging AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS, RDS, VPC, S3, etc.) for scalable, cost-effective solutionsCollaborating cross-functionally to support smooth product launches and updatesMonitoring environments and applications to ensure availability, performance, and reliabilityEnsuring security and compliance through best practices in secrets management, access control, and vulnerability remediationParticipating in incident management, including root cause analysis and out-of-hours support What We're Looking ForWhat We’re Looking For2+ years' experience in a DevOps Engineering roleStrong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and DockerSolid grasp of CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Scripting skills in Bash or PythonBackground in Linux/Unix system administrationKnowledge of monitoring tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, PagerDuty, etcFamiliarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and tools like GitHub, JIRA, ConfluenceExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAn automation-first mindset and a passion for continuous improvement DesirableBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldAWS Associate Certification(s)Terraform Associate CertificationPrevious experience with container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes) Why Join Arcus?Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)Up to 4% discretionary bonus based on performance25 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysGenerous pension scheme with matched contributions (5%-6%)Life AssuranceSalary Sacrifice Electric Vehicle SchemeLearning & Development opportunities, including funded training sponsorshipsCycle to Work SchemeHealth cash plan At Arcus, we’re passionate about nurturing talent and providing industry-leading development opportunities to help you grow your career. Ready to take your career to the next level?
