DevOps Engineer

Exon is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing R&D team.Lead and scale our AWS-first infrastructure using Terraform and EKS, own reliability, CI/CD, observability, and security, and collaborate with product and engineering to enable fast, safe delivery.Job responsibilities:AWS & Terraform: Design/manage VPCs, EKS, networking, storage, and IAM policies.Kubernetes (EKS): Handle upgrades, autoscaling, RBAC, PodSecurity, and multi-env delivery.CI/CD: Build pipelines with GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins for safe, automated deployments.Monitoring: Operate Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, OpenTelemetry; define clear SLOs/SLIs.Security: Apply IAM least-privilege, KMS, Secrets Manager, TLS/mTLS, scanning, and zero-trust.Data Systems: Manage RDS, Kafka/SQS/RabbitMQ, Redis, and S3 with DR and backup strategies.Reliability & FinOps: Ensure multi-AZ/region HA, cost optimization, budgets, and alerts.Developer Experience: Automate workflows with Bash/Python (Go – nice to have).Required Skills & Experience:5+ years DevOps experience; 3+ years running Kubernetes (EKS).Strong AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, Linux, and networking skills.Scripting: Bash & Python (Go a plus).Actual experience with Prometheus/Grafana/New Relic.Self-motivated, quick learner, and proactive individual with a can-do attitudeStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a teamArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Helm, advanced OpenTelemetry - Huge advantageB.Sc. in CS/Engineering - AdvantageAbout Exon:Exon is on a mission to serve as a first-rate, all-encompassing source of shopping advice and guidance for online consumers.
