At mBank, we are committed to driving digital transformation and empowering our clients through cutting-edge technology.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a DevOps Engineer, located in Kathmandu. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring seamless system administration in Linux environments.The role involves implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing server infrastructure, ensuring secure deployments (SSL, domains), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and automation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain application servers such as Apache Tomcat and Nginx.Configure and maintain SSL certificates and domain management.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other automation tools.Deploy and monitor applications in containerized environments using Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes.Manage and secure container images in Harbor.Develop, maintain, and version Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable releases and system uptime.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and scalability.QualificationsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices.Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat, Nginx, SSL, domain configuration, Rancher, Jenkins, Harbor, and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and automation best practices.Expertise in System Administration, especially in Linux environments.Knowledge of cloud computing or container orchestration technologies is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
