We are continuously growing and we are looking for a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join our UniQue team.What will you be doing in this role?Manage deployments in Acceptance (ACC) and Production (PROD) environmentsDevelop and maintain deployment scripts and automation toolsWork closely with Development, QA, and DevSecOps teams to ensure smooth deploymentsEnsure the IT infrastructure is up to date with the latest patches and upgradesMonitor system performance and proactively address potential issuesManage server, storage, and network configurationsMaintain infrastructure as codeOptimize the management of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for scalability and performanceRespond to incidents and service requests in a timely mannerConduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidentsMaintain an incident log and prepare incident reportsManage backups, disaster recovery plans (DRP)Maintain detailed documentation of the infrastructure and deployment processesEnsure compliance with industry best practices and organizational policiesProvide technical support and guidance to other team membersParticipate in on-call rotations for after-hours supportRequirementsWhat do you need to succeed in this position?Master's degree in IT and minimum 9 years of experience in a relevant field (or Bachelor's in IT and minimum 13 years of experience)Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations or a similar roleCertification in AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Microsoft Certified{{:}} Azure Administrator, or equivalentStrong experience with deployment managementExperience with infrastructure as code tools (i.e. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)Strong scripting skills (i.e. Python, Bash, PowerShell)Proficiency in cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)Expertise in operating systems such as Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows ServerExperience with tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or equivalents to monitor infrastructure and prevent incidentsFamiliarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other database tools, including backup and disaster recovery practicesProven experience with IAM (Identity and Access Management), firewalls, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2), and DevSecOps practicesExperience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or CircleCIStrong troubleshooting skills and experience with incident management in production environmentsAtlassian Tools like JIRA, Confluence, BitbucketKnowledge of Version Control{{:}} Git, GitHub, GitLabExcellent English language skills(C-level, written and spoken)At Uni Systems, we are providing equal employment opportunities and banning any form of discrimination on grounds of gender, religion, race, color, nationality, disability, social class, political beliefs, age, marital status, sexual orientation or any other characteristics.
