At AlgoSec, What you do matters!Over 2,200 of the world’s leading organizations trust AlgoSec to help secure their most critical workloads across public cloud, private cloud, containers, and on-premises networks.Join our global team, securing application connectivity, anywhere.We are hiring aa hands-on DevOps Team Leader to to join our global R&D organizationto lead and mentor a global team of DevOps engineers (local and abroad).This role combines strong technical execution with people leadership and operational ownership.The DevOps Team Leader will drive automation, reliability, scalability, and security across cloud and CI/CD platformswhile working closely with development, QA and architecture teams.Reporting to: DevOps Group ManagerLocation: Petah Tikva, Israel (Hybrid model)Direct employment ResponsibilitiesLead and manage local and global DevOps team of engineersSet priorities, goals, and execution plans aligned with group objectivesConduct task planning, execution, and delivery trackingMentor and grow team members technically and professionallyPerform code and design reviewsAct as a senior hands-on contributor in DevOps activities (not only managerial)Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworksLead cloud infrastructure design and operations (AWS/Azure/GCP environments)Own infrastructure as code (Terraform)Lead Kubernetes and container platform operations and improvementsDrive platform reliability, performance, and cost optimizationImplement DevSecOps practices and security controls across pipelines and platformsRequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent \ or army service with proven experience in leading DevOps domainMinimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related rolesAt least 1 year of experience leading a DevOps teamStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using TerraformProven experience designing and implementing CI/CD processes and pipelinesSolid hands-on experience with Linux-based systemsProficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or GroovyExperience working with Git-based source control platforms such as Bitbucket or GitLabStrong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or AzureDeep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and KubernetesExperience working with Java and Maven Proactive, open-minded, and solution-orientedStrong team player with high integrity and positive interpersonal approachHighly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to qualityFast learner with the ability to work independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAlgoSec is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO), committed to creating a friendly, diverse and inclusive company culture.
