Deployment of the newme robot is the first step in a larger vision to pioneer an instant, sustainable, and inclusive mobility network to connect people to places and experiences. avatarin has been operating newme robots in aquariums and museums since 2021 and is working to expand deployment to public spaces including airports, hotels, hospitals, government offices, train stations, and retail stores in Japan and around the world.■Job DescriptionAs a DevSecOps engineer in the Avatarin Cloud Infrastructure Department, you ensure that our on-premise infrastructure services meet the organization's service level agreement. This is achieved with the best engineering practices and resilient design.A typical day involves a dynamic blend of planning, execution, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. You might spend some hours in reviewing monitoring dashboards for critical systems (servers, network devices, storage arrays, container clusters, and other enterprise IT systems). This could involve diving into logs, analyzing metrics, access auditing, and security records.During the rest of the schedule, the focus might shift to capacity planning, optimizing network architecture and bandwidth utilization, enhancing observability, security auditing, or implementing automation scripts to streamline routine tasks. Additionally, documenting everything is essential. A significant portion of the day might be dedicated to collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as technology, auditing, corporate administration, and external partners to ensure the smooth operation of avatarin’s on-premise IT infrastructure.This role provides the opportunity to work with a wide range of enterprise IT, auditing, and security technologies.
