We seek a Supply Coordinator colleague to join our world-class client, one of the world's biggest oil and gas companies. On-site work with flexibility (after the probation period, occasional home office can be requested)Employment Type: Temporary Placement (via us - Dexian) - Temporary Agency Worker Employment ContractDuration: 1 year (with potential to be extended after 1 year)Hours per Week: 40 (Full-time)Description: Plan and coordinate product movements for asset-forward supply chains to optimize supply/demand balances including lowest delivered cost to meet company sales and customer demand.
Develops, implements, monitors, improves and optimizes business, coordination and operations processes, systems and best practices for the assigned area. Responsibilities: Effectively communicate with all partners to ensure alignment and accurate execution of plans. Collaborate with team members to optimize plans and the use of assets while minimizing costs. Ensure adherence to credit guidelines, regulatory compliance and transportation policies. Provides input on capabilities and limitations of the supply systems in support of the development of supply logistics planning. Maintain supply reliability to meet agreed service levels.
If applicable, work on a daily/weekly basis with relevant internal and external parties to resolve scheduling issues and short-term product availability issues. As needed, utilize relevant tools (advanced planning systems, transactional systems) to achieve short and medium term (0-3 months) optimal supply/demand balances. As appropriate, monitor and manage interface with internal and third parties at all supply points to ensure assigned product quota is maintained. May manage interfaces with external parties as appropriate, e. g. , Government Agencies, third party suppliers, marketers, etc.
Ensure activities at third party facilities are in compliance with company standards / requirements, as applicableRequired Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s (or Master’s degree) required, preferably in Logistics, Business Administration, Economics or Engineering2-4 years' experience (preferably in Supply Chain) via studies or work experience or 6+ year's of experience for a same higher bracket job position. French language skill would be an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Timely and accurate execution of daily activities, attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft office. Strong numerical skills. Fluent English written and verbal skills.
Good communication, collaboration skills - Interfaces with key logistics partners to ensure effective operations. Note: Employment is carried out through labor leasing, under a Temporary Agency Worker contract.
