Role ContextThe job holder shall coordinate service quality plans and processes to improve business operation effectiveness and logistics client service quality, achieve guaranteed quality levels and compliance with international and national quality standards in line with business strategy and required, corporate guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate service quality plans and processes to guarantee quality levels and improve service quality Coach and guide the team for execution of day-to-day tasks and activities to implement service quality operational plans and measures Undertake optimized process design and service quality inspections in order to achieve compliance with internal and external quality standards, relevant regulations, licenses and certifications Examine current business practices and design process improvements in business operations and logistics client service quality Participate in development of quality standards, procedures, metrics and specifications impacting quality of business operations Study customer requirements, performance data, internal auditing programs, etc.

and prepare statistical reports to track service quality and examine effectives of various processes Guide implementation of adequate controls and documentation procedures for achieving set quality standards Ensure compliance with set quality standards and standard operating procedures across the sorting, warehousing, transportation and delivery processes Work with purchasing team and liaises with vendors to implement practices related to purchase and quality requirements from external suppliers Act as an internal consultant, provide technical guidance, "white glove" service and special handling resolutions for shipment issues and projects Prepare reports on weaknesses, ineffective procedures, policy exceptions and discrepancies and suggest corrective actions Identify issues, opportunities and execute practices related to service quality focusing on delivering continuous improvement and enhanced service standardsRequired SkillsQuality Assurance, Quality Control, Testing, Operations Management, Process Improvement, Warehousing, Transportation, Root Cause Analysis, Compliance, Data Entry, Process Mapping, First Choice, Reporting, Customer Satisfaction, Vendor Management, Audit, DHL Business Knowledge, Business Processes, Business Strategy, Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Influencing, Feedback, Presentation & Storytelling, Facilitation, Negotiation, People Management, ResourcingEducation Requirements Minimum of bachelor’s degree in, procurement and logistics management, supply chain management, Warehouse or Estate management related courses.

Being a holder of a professional Procurement or supply chain related course is an added advantage. Minimum of five years’ experience two of which carrying out a similar role, in a related environment. Must hold a valid driving License for CAT A&BWe are looking forward to your application.
