Dietician / Nutrition Specialist — Weight Loss ProgrammePosition: Dietician / Clinical Nutrition SpecialistReports to: Medical DirectorLocation: Dublin 2 (office-based 3 days/week; 2 days home-working after probation)Type: Full-timeProbation: 3 monthsAbout Slimbr HealthSlimbr Health runs a doctor-led weight loss programme combining evidence-based nutrition, supervised access to GLP-1 medications, and calorie-controlled plans. We’re building a team that can deliver high touch, clinically sound support to our patients on their weight loss journey. The dietician will be central in translating medical guidance into actionable, sustainable nutrition plans and delivering patient check-ins by phone.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one dietary assessments and counselling for patients enrolled in the weight loss programmeDesign tailored meal plans (calorie controlled) consistent with medical oversight and GLP-1 regimenConduct regular telephone follow-ups with patients to:– Monitor adherence, appetite, side effects– Adjust plans as needed– Provide behavioural/nutritional coaching and motivationLiaise closely with the medical team to ensure nutritional plans align with medical protocolsDocument patient progress, maintain accurate records, and report metrics (weight loss, adherence, feedback)Develop educational materials (handouts, guides) for patientsParticipate in team meetings and case reviewsStay up to date with nutrition science (especially in obesity, GLP-1 therapy, behaviour change)Occasionally present group seminars/webinars to patients or internal staffRequired Qualifications & SkillsQualified in Dietetics, Nutrition, or equivalent; Proven experience in clinical or therapeutic weight management / obesity nutritionStrong counselling/coaching skills; ability to motivate behaviour changeExcellent communication skills (verbal + written), especially on the phoneComfortable working in a multidisciplinary medical environmentGood organisational and documentation skillsAbility to adapt nutritional plans in response to medical feedbackTech-savvy (for remote calls, patient record systems)DesirableExperience working with GLP-1 therapies or with medically supervised weight lossAdditional qualifications or certifications in behaviour change, motivational interviewingExperience delivering group education or webinarsSocial media savvyWorking PatternBased in Dublin 2 office 3 days per week (client assessments, meetings)2 days per week remote/home working (phone check-ins, planning) after successful completion of 3-month probationFlexible hours may occasionally be required for evening phone callsPerformance MetricsPatient retention / adherence ratesMean weight loss per patient cohortPatient satisfaction / feedback scoresAccuracy and timeliness of record keeping
