Digital - Project Manager

Summary The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the delivery of services to customers in accordance with contractual commitments. The PM will lead a team comprising engineers with different technological and domain skills-set to ensure effective and efficient development, implementation and ongoing operations and maintenance of projects to meet contractual requirements. This includes effective stakeholders, internal project team, subcontractors/ vendors, time, budget, schedule and risk management to deliver on our commitments to our customers. For development projects, The SPM is expected to have knowledge of the SDLC methodology required to lead the development implementation. In addition, the incumbent is expected to work with other functional groups such as finance, legal, PMO and procurement.Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate and prepare implementation strategies to meet key project milestones such as delivery, tests and payment milestonesDevelop Project Management Plans including risk management plan to ensure effective project management and deliveryEnsure that all projects and products are delivered with the required quality and that appropriate levels of testing and technical governance is carried out in accordance with internal standards and contractual requirementsLead and manage project team members, subcontractors and vendors to deliver project on schedule and cost while meeting project requirements.Responsible for vendor management including procurement management, contract management to ensure purchase orders and contract terms and conditions are aligned with our obligations to customers and to mitigate any gaps in a prudent mannerInitiate, organise and attend project meetings with customers and to ensure project teams are kept fully informed about project progress, tasks, action plan and deadlinesAnticipate, manage and resolve issues, risks, dependencies and impediments that may impact on successful project deliveryEnsure that project progress is reported in an accurate and timely manner to all stakeholders and project teamsEffective stakeholder management to set the right expectations throughout the projectKeep abreast of relevant technological developments in order to improve and stay effective in the roleAny other ad-hoc duties as required or assignedRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalentMore than 7 years of experience in Project Management of large scale projects with good technical knowledge on .Net, Java, J2EE, Application Servers, Databases, etc. are preferred.Customer-oriented and a team player with the ability to effectively lead and motivate team members towards common objectivesA self-starter and ability to work under pressure and tight schedule with a positive and proactive attitude to anticipate challenges and resolves issuesStrong competency and experience in managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teamsProficient with Microsoft Project or other project management reporting toolsCertifications in Project Management such as CSM and/or PMP is preferredEffective communications and presentation skills, both written and oralExperienced in managing projects in Public sectorExperienced in managing Agile implementation is preferred
