What The Role IsAs a Digital Business Analyst, you support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and collaborate with business owners (non-tech), cybersecurity specialists, cloud infra-security, Devsecops and GRC (Governance Risk Compliance) to deliver secure and leading-edge digital solutions.You are a proactive, self-motivated, and resourceful team member with solid digital and cybersecurity knowledge and possess strong influencing and people-handling skills. You are adept at balancing multiple projects concurrently while constantly looking for innovative and secure ways to apply digital technologies to meet CSA and its business needs.ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be working on Partner with the CSA’s business teams to elicit business, and CSA’s needs through human-centric and visual methods. Apply Design Thinking / Service Design methodologies to identify current state gaps and day to day challenges and assess existing or develop future-state designs and solutions that embed security-by-design principles. Evaluate and recommend suitable technology solutions (WOG) while aligning with WOG policies and cybersecurity best practices, such as:Cloud adoption aligned with government cloud security frameworksZero Trust and data protection principlesModernisation of legacy systems with improved security and resilienceAdoption of SG Tech Stack with integrated cybersecurity safeguards Identify and adopt the appropriate development and delivery approach (Outsourced, Co-Sourced or In-house development), ensuring vendor security compliance and risk management. Collaborate with CSA business owners to develop user stories, functional/technical specifications, and acceptance criteria that include security controls and compliance requirements. Ensure product readiness for smooth deployment, secure configuration, adoption, and operations. Analyse the impact of requested changes and propose improvements to address changing business and cyber risk needs. Work with internal support teams to understand and address technical vulnerabilities and incidents (Operations Management). Assist the CIO in identifying new opportunities, digital threats, and problems to solve for CSA’s secure digital transformation. Build deep knowledge of the CSA’s business and operations and identify opportunities to enhance both operational efficiency and cyber resilience.RequirementsWhat we are looking for Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or related disciplines. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity (advantageous to have had experience in Secure Software Development, or Cybersecurity-related projects). Strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on experience working in Agile and Product-centric teams, with familiarity in secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) is a must. Working knowledge of AI tools, data analytics, and cybersecurity concepts (e.g., threat modelling, data classification, identity management). Strong analytical, conceptualisation, facilitation and problem-solving skills, particularly in discovery sessions, product prototyping, and risk assessments. Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advocate for security best practices. A driven and motivated personality with the ability to rapidly learn, apply, and execute securely in a fast-evolving digital environment.
