Role Title: Digital Business AnalystRole Location: Dublin or Kilkenny (Hybrid)A full-time and permanent position has arisen within Vhi for Digital Business Analyst role. The Vhi Customer Experience Management team is a growing, fast-paced team who are using technology and design to deliver innovative customer experiences to our members. We have an ambitious digital transformation agenda well underway across our web, mobile, technology and customer facing platforms.We are seeking a Digital Business Analyst to take a lead role on key organisational initiatives and to ensure we deliver great work for our customers and our business. The Customer Experience Management team operates several product teams pursuing diverse streams of work across our digital channels. We are passionate about design thinking, user testing, and other techniques that bring a customer focus to product development.Role PurposeIdentify and drive agreement of scope with stakeholders. Perform root cause analysis of problems, conduct workshops and work closely with business users in order to identify and translate their needs into business/functional requirement specifications. Assist the business stakeholders in prioritising business requirements and defining new business processes. Work closely with technical team during the implementation phases to ensure a common understanding, agreement and effective implementation of projects. Validate solution delivered and ensure it is both customer centric and fit for business purposes. Drive deliverables to completion within challenging timelines ensuring collaboration and effective communication with all stakeholders. Support UAT during all phases of testing to ensure requirements as detailed in the specification document have been delivered and are ready for release. Apply structured business analysis methods and techniques to proposed business process and IT changes. Conduct research on best practice and benchmark as appropriate. Education & ExperienceSuccessful track record as a business analyst with minimum 2 years’ experience Proven experience of Business Change Projects particularly in digital solution delivery from both a business change and IT change perspective these should have involved feasibility studies, customer research, business analysis, requirements definition and business readiness. Ability to formulate solutions to business problems and make fast paced decisions. Strong analytical skills with ability to assimilate from a variety of sources and understand the ‘big’ picture view as well as the lower-level detail. Very strong people relationship and communication skills with proven ability to negotiate and influence. Is highly organised and proactive with the ability to prioritise and track multiple tasks to successful completion against strict deadlines. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Experienced in understanding customers’ needs and ensuring they are well considered throughout the delivery cycle. Accurate documentation of all requirements and the business solution such that stakeholders, the development team and test team understand them clearly to go about their tasks. Assess the impact of the solution on various stakeholders Assess the feasibility of the recommended solution from a business perspective Ensure that the development team understands the problem and the solution Manage changes to business requirements and do an impact analysis. Work with the test team during the test phase to ensure that solution is accurate and free of bugs and issues. Ensure that the expected benefit of change is realised.
