Our team works collaboratively to ensure our initiatives meet the needs of our residents and foster a sense of belonging.We value innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability in all our endeavours, and are dedicated to providing opportunities for professional growth and development within our organisation.About The RoleAs our Digital Content Producer, you’ll help bring our council’s stories to life — crafting digital content that informs, inspires, and connects with our community.Working closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Advisor and the Corporate Communications Team, you’ll turn complex information into engaging, accessible, and visually appealing content that builds trust and encourages participation across our digital channels.From concept to delivery, you’ll lead the full content journey — writing scripts and copy, producing and editing videos and graphics, and ensuring every piece aligns with our brand and purpose. You’ll also help manage and measure the performance of our digital platforms, using insights to continually improve how we communicate and engage online.Who We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity and technical skills, able to produce high-quality content tailored for various digital platforms. You should be an effective communicator with a strong storytelling ability and a deep understanding of current digital trends.Degree or diploma in Communications, Media, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience in digital content creation, including video production, filming, and editing.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar content creation tools.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Experience in community-facing or government organisations is desirable.Familiarity with social media analytics, content calendars, and online publishing tools is a plus.We are looking for someone who is customer-centric, has a passion for community engagement, and can build productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
