As a Digital Graphic Designer, you are a creative and passionate individual with an enthusiasm for all things design and multimedia. High-quality design is always a top priority for you.You will be part of a team with our client who is responsible for defining, designing, and delivering marketing programs aimed at helping financial advisors with their marketing efforts. Your role will involve designing and developing compelling and effective marketing materials while consulting on campaigns to ensure they are on-brand and on-strategy. This includes everything from wireframes and mock-ups to email campaigns, landing pages, web banners, social media images, interactive PDFs, and video storyboarding and editing.This is a 3-month contract with the potential to extend to 6 months. This position is remote within Canada.ResponsibilitiesResearch, design, and develop user-friendly digital solutions with accessibility best practices in mind.Present campaign creative concepts to key stakeholders that can be adapted across various digital assets.Consult on digital initiatives for financial advisors and clients, offering expertise on how to best execute the creative vision.Lead video projects from start to finish, including storyboarding, production, animation, and post-production.Design and develop wireframes, HTML email campaigns, and web landing pages, keeping the user journey and analytics top of mind.Proactively identify opportunities to create value, share new ideas, and provide creative solutions.Use approved AI tools to improve design efficiency and optimize marketing tactics.Lead or participate in brainstorming sessions with marketing team members and business partners.Manage design deliverables through internal and external reviews, ensuring project timelines are met.Document and define new process enhancements and project documentation, maintaining a strong handle on file version control.Support the design team with print-related projects as needed.RequirementsPost-secondary education, including completion of a graphic or web design program at a recognized college or an undergraduate degree in a related discipline.3 or more years of experience in digital graphic design.Expertise in usability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Acrobat).Experience with Microsoft tools for design (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).Experience using AI platforms to enhance and optimize designs and workflows.Proficiency in video storyboarding, production, animation, and post-production.Experience with responsive digital design and front-end development of landing pages and web forms.Strong HTML email design and coding experience, with a solid understanding of how to work effectively within its limitations.Experience using an HTML email testing platform like Litmus.Expertise in current accessibility standards related to design, file structure, and coding.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap, as well as CMS integration experience.Strong time-management, organizational skills, and an attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Effective communication skills.A portfolio showcasing your digital design work is a must-have, with examples of campaign creative, HTML emails, landing pages, and a video sample or highlight reel.Experience designing for marketing campaigns.UX/UI experience.Creative agency experience is ideal.Bilingual (French & English), nice to have.Experience in the insurance and financial services industry.If you are a creative problem-solver with a passion for digital design and a desire to make an impact, we encourage you to apply.
