Multiple systems are used (KLIM-CICC platform, customized industrial solution in .NET developments integrated with SAP PM, geospatial asset management applications, information management systems, etc.).Team ResponsibilitiesProject Services: adapting the software product to fit requirements from corporate-wide projects.Product Enhancement: providing a software product that is fully adapted to the business needs by implementing new functionality requested by the business users.Product Support: Ensuring the continuity of the operations of the software product and providing support to the users of these applications.Product Maintenance: Ensuring the correct functioning of the software product: resolution of production problems and adaptation of the software product to a changed environment.Main Responsibilities:ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be asked to show interest in the Asset Management domain, to be able to understand the business needs and to assess the impact on the ICT systems. The candidate will be assigned the following responsibilities:External Platform: Support the KLIM-CICC platform in collaboration with a service provider. Responsibilities include validating member onboarding, initiating, evaluating and testing functional changes & fixes, and close coordination with Service Desk Manager.The role also involves participating in steering committees to ensure strategic alignment.The Mission Focuses On:General Skills:Interpersonal Skills:Technical Skills:Fluency in the use of the following tools:Place of Mission:Timing:The next step Internal Applications:Provide support to end-users on production systems.The candidate will have to understand and challenge the needs of internal and external customers to define the real requirements, to give the right advise and to propose the right orientation of the solution (in sync with architecture office).Analyse functional/ business problems and choose the most appropriate solution in collaboration with the development team.Analyse business requirements and translate them to clear and concise user stories.Create business process and functional system documentation using UML & BPMN-artifacts (business process models, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, information models, etc.).Create domain interface specifications (domain driven design).Define an “action plan” to deliver user stories by helping the team to break down user stories in tasks.Produce & follow-up test scenarios for system testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.Review analysis deliverables (e.g. functional system specifications, business component interface specifications, etc.) of peers.Act as SPOC for all functional questions during the development process and being the connection between the customer and the ICT product team.Execute follow-up on the implementation.Facilitate estimation and planning sessions.Assist in the redaction of user manual, release notes & possibly training to end users.Provide recommendation through passed experiences to improve business processes.Implementing future digital projects related to the inspection and maintenance of transport network infrastructures, the quality control of metering equipment, and the development of specific tools to support dispatching.Supporting and maintaining existing and future tools for the domains mentioned above.Ability to work according to rules, standards and guidelines defined by the Enterprise Architecture/Security Office.Background knowledge of the energy sector in general and the asset management domain in particular is an asset.Fluent in Dutch, French and good knowledge of English.Strong communication skills (written & verbal).Teamwork.Critical thinking.Problem solver.Attention to detail.Adaptability.Pragmatic and open mind.The ability to understand & challenge the needs of customers and to formalize the derived requirements.Good knowledge of UML Business Process Modelling (BPMN) techniques.Experience with UI design.Strong analytical background.Experience providing support to end users.UML modelling tools (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect).Agile software development tools (e.g. MS Visual Studio TS, etc.).Documentation-communication tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Confluence).Good knowledge of relational databases and being able to write database queries (SQL) on both Oracle and MS SQL Server.Knowledge of SAP PM (S/4HANA) is an asset.The candidate may be required to travel occasionally to the head office (Brussels) and to other sites within Belgium where company’s offices and/or installations are located.Homework possible 2 days/week.The start date of this mission is as soon as possible after a period of evaluation and procurement negotiation, typically 15 working days after the agreement between company and supplier.We have an exceptional team in place, and we are pleased to be able to appoint a further person to our growing business.
