About the roleDigital Island has ambitious growth targets, and this role is responsible for growing and retaining revenue across Corporate, and Enterprise accounts using a Consultative sales approach. This person will enjoy a high-performance environment and has a strong ability to influence at all levels. As a Contact Centre and Collaboration expert, they will be able to use their experience to help shape amazing Customer Experience outcomes for clients with a lens on innovation and AI.
They will be a “Cloud” enthusiast who is comfortable creating a narrative that generates Professional Services and Consumption based revenues across our client base. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a ‘hunter’ mentality, who enjoys generating new opportunities and relationships, but who is also skilled at building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients and partners. Key ResponsibilitiesMeeting and exceeding revenue targets, including accurately managing and forecasting sales pipelineProactively create, grow, and close new sales opportunities across new prospects, existing clients and channel partnersDrive sales in Consulting, Professional and Managed Services associated with Cloud Communications, while also looking to grow our Collaboration and Contact Centre solutions in marketFacilitate the creation of Sales Documentation to deliver on customer requirementsWork closely with our Consulting and Delivery teams to provide an exceptional customer experienceKeep well informed of market and technology developments, including our own suite of solutions and servicesMaintaining a positive and healthy attitude that contributes to the team and organisational growthSkills and Experience to be demonstratedThe ideal candidate will have proven commercial experience in the New Zealand ICT industry in a Sales role.
Critical will be an existing network of IT business contacts, a great reputation in the industry and strong references. Five years of experience in Cloud Contact Centre, ICT or software sales in Enterprise and Corporate segmentsHave a strong business and technical understanding of cloud communications solutions ensuring customer outcomes are the cornerstone of your sales approachPrevious experience in identifying and growing channel partnersExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsExceptional at building trusted advisor relationships with multiple client stakeholders, including C-Level, Contact Centre Managers and IT Operations.
Can build trust and inspire confidence providing value through your expertise and guidanceEnjoys working at pace and are a self-starterProven experience and existing relationships with Enterprise and Corporate clients
