As a Social Media Coordinator on the Disney Brand and Franchises digital team, you’ll support the team in managing day-to-day social media operations and help ensure our content reflects the Disney brand voice. You’ll assist with copy drafting, routing creative for approval, organizing feedback, and supporting publishing processes across platforms.This role is ideal for someone eager to learn how large-scale brand social teams operate and contribute to best-in-class storytelling across digital platforms.Responsibilities: Support content publishing: Assist with drafting and scheduling social copy across various platforms under the guidance of brand leads.Coordinate approvals: Route assets and gather feedback from internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of approved content.Assist in asset sharing: Help organize and share creative files and materials with vendors and partners.Track and organize feedback: Maintain team trackers or documents to record feedback and version updates for creative reviews.Monitor social trends: Research and flag relevant trends or engagement opportunities for the team to consider.Team support: Take notes in meetings, manage file organization, and assist with administrative or coordination needs to keep workflows running smoothly.Required SkillsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.Previous internship or project experience in social media, digital marketing, or related fields a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools.Curiosity about the digital landscape and eagerness to learn.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with social media management or analytics tools.Basic knowledge of design software (e.g. Photoshop, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite).Experience with Airtable or other project management platforms a plus. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
