We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Digital Marketing Designer to join our client, Sun Life, on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a designer with strong HTML email coding experience who also thrives in a multi-channel environment—designing across web, social, video, and interactive media. You will play a pivotal role in supporting Sun Life advisors and clients through impactful campaigns, ensuring accessible, high-quality design solutions that drive engagement.What is in it for you: Hourly salary of $40 to $50/h – Incorporated rate: $48 to $58$/h. 3 to 6-month contract, with strong possibility of extension. Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week. Flexibility: possibility to work fully remote across Canada, or hybrid from Waterloo, Toronto, or Montreal. Responsibilities: Design and build HTML email campaigns, ensuring usability, accessibility, and brand consistency. Develop digital marketing assets, including campaign landing pages, web forms, social media posts, interactive PDFs, and promotional videos (light editing and motion graphics). Collaborate with advisors, writers, and project managers to deliver end-to-end campaign creative—from concept to execution and testing. Provide creative consultation and contribute ideas in brainstorming and strategy sessions. Research, design, and present campaign concepts adaptable across multiple digital formats. Manage design deliverables and maintain strong version control to meet deadlines with accuracy. Support print-related projects when required. What you will need to succeed: Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in digital graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing clean corporate design across email, web, and multimedia. Strong HTML and CSS skills (Dreamweaver experience required); familiarity with JavaScript and Bootstrap is an asset. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Acrobat) on Mac OS. Knowledge of accessibility standards (AODA) and cross-browser compatibility best practices. Experience with video storyboarding, editing, and light motion graphics. Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills, with the ability to adapt to feedback and juggle multiple projects. Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset but not required.
