Digital Marketing Specialist – Children's Books

This role focuses on driving online sales for a series of children’s books aimed at ages 1 to 4, published by an established business owner in Central Portugal. The primary objective is to develop and execute effective digital marketing strategies that consistently generate a minimum of 15 book sales per day. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance, clear communication, and proven solutions to maximize return on investment, supporting a long-term partnership. The position requires a results-driven marketer who can work independently, educate the client on best practices, and deliver measurable outcomes in a competitive online environment.Deliverables Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing plan tailored to children’s book sales. Set up and manage targeted online advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads). Optimize website and sales funnels for increased conversions. Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms to build brand awareness and drive traffic. Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve sales targets. Provide clear, actionable guidance to the business owner on digital marketing best practices. Recommend and implement cost-effective marketing tools and platforms.Requirements Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably with book publishing, e-commerce, or children’s products. Strong knowledge of online advertising platforms, SEO, and social media marketing. Ability to design and execute campaigns that deliver measurable sales results. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain digital marketing concepts to non-experts. High level of integrity, reliability, and a track record of building long-term client relationships. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. Familiarity with the UK and European markets is a plus.
