We are looking for a Digital Operations and Simulation LeadPnr:22430Job DescriptionThe Digital Operations and Simulation Lead is responsible for ownership and development of the company’s process simulator platforms, operator training programs, and digital operations tools.The role supports safe, efficient FLNG operations by leading simulator-based training and driving digitalization initiatives through data platforms such as Aveva PI and KIMS.Serve as process owner for all dynamic process simulators used in training, testing, and operations support.Lead the design, development, and delivery of simulator-based training programs for operations personnel.Ensure simulator platforms remain technically current, reflect plant changes, and meet operational training needs.Act as focal point toward simulator vendors for model updates, issue resolution, and capability improvements.Plan and execute operator competency assessments using simulation scenarios.Develop and maintain simulator configurations, scenarios, and associated documentation.Collaborate with Asset Teams and Engineering to scope and support simulation needs for current and future FLNG units.Lead digitalization efforts in FLNG Operations, in particular utilizing the data harvested by our Aveva PI systemDevelop and maintain dashboards, mimics, and data visualization tools that support day-to-day operational decisions.Provide data-driven insights to enhance operational safety, plant reliability, and production availability.Support operational troubleshooting and improvement through real-time and historical data analysis.Assist in emergency preparedness training through scenario simulations and data-driven decision tools.Lead digital twin initiatives or other advanced simulation-based decision support systems.Track training performance metrics, identify gaps, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.Support budget planning and cost control for simulator and digital tool development.
