Engages with external agencies, where appropriate, as well as internal teams in the production of communications content.Purpose of RoleThe D&T communications manager is responsible for setting and driving the communications agenda for the function, including internal communications to keep the D&T organization updated and engaged, as well as communications external to the function to help promote the role and achievements of D&T, and to assist with communication of D&T driven changes.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunications PlanningDevelop and own the communications plan for the D&T function, with clear and aligned communications goals/themes across the D&T senior leadership teamCollaborate with other communications leads, to ensure a joined-up approach for cross-functional communicationsCoordinate with HR to create a holistic view of all employee engagement and development activities.Communications & EngagementDesign and deliver engaging and inspiring internal communications campaigns to build awareness and advocacy for D&TCreate regular content including newsletters, leadership talking points, Engage posts, and event materials.Manage the D&T communications calendar and ensure timely updates through regular forums, townhalls, and posts.Establish and monitor feedback loops, leveraging representatives from across D&T, and adjust plans to maximise employee and stakeholder engagement.Support broader D&T communications through quality assurance and approval of content generated by other D&T teams.Recognition and celebrationFacilitate employee recognition by being an advocate and owner for functional activities such as CIO awards, end of year town halls etc Experience / Skills Required10 to 14 years of experience in change management or internal communications within global organizationsStrong writing, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.Familiarity with enterprise change frameworks (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR) and communications tools Experience partnering across other geographies and functionsSuccess in RoleSuccess Is Seen AsClear, consistent communications that build understanding and excitement about D&TMaintaining and growing employee engagement and NPS measuresAvailability of high-quality content for events and postsFlexible Working Statement: Flexibility is key to our success.
