Make your mark for patients We are looking for a DT Lead AI Solutions & Multimodal AI who is innovative, collaborative, and impact-driven to join us in our DT Tech Strategy & Solutions team, based in our HQ in Anderlecht, Belgium.About The RoleYou will play a key role in shaping UCB’s global AI strategy by designing and implementing advanced AI solutions. Your work will enable multimodal capabilities, integrating text, image, audio, and structured data while ensuring ethical and responsible AI practices. This is a global role with significant impact on UCB’s digital transformation and patient-focused mission.Who You’ll Work WithYou will be part of a dynamic team driving UCB’s digital technology strategy. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders across global functions to deliver innovative AI solutions that align with compliance, security, and strategic goals.What You’ll DoDesign and deliver AI initiatives from prototype to full-scale solutionsLead development of multimodal AI capabilities across text, image, audio, and dataAlign stakeholders on AI strategies and ensure value-driven outcomesStay ahead of emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for UCBPromote AI adoption and awareness across the organizationCoach junior colleagues and manage external contractorsInterested? For this role we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fieldMinimum 5 years’ experience in AI application development and software engineeringExpertise in predictive, prescriptive, and generative AI solutionsHands-on experience with Python, graph/vector databases, and agent frameworksStrong knowledge of agile product management and iterative developmentExcellent communication skills and commitment to ethical AI practicesAre you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
