Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mogadishu for a Diplomat. The role involves representing Somalia’s interests at national, regional, and international levels. Key tasks include fostering and maintaining bilateral and multilateral relationships, participating in diplomatic negotiations, preparing reports on political and international developments, and promoting Somalia’s objectives within global forums. The Diplomat will also contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening peace, security, and cooperation on global issues. Qualifications Proficiency in Diplomacy, Politics, and Public SpeakingExperience in Training and familiarity with Nonprofit OrganizationsStrong analytical and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to build and maintain professional networks in multilateral environmentsKnowledge of international relations, foreign policy, and geopolitical dynamicsFluency in Somali and English; additional language skills are a plusBachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Law, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred)
