Job Summary:The Business Development and Marketing Executive is responsible for driving direct results in top line sales growth, field productivity and market penetration. The main responsibilities of this role are to increase Sunrider Australia’s base of distributors and customers through a combination of personal recruitment, running marketing awareness programs (social media, face to face meetings, events) and then co-ordinating these programs to ensure consistent retention and ongoing sales revenue.This position requires a combination of sales and marketing skills in today’s business and social environments, understanding modern consumer buying behaviours and the proven ability to implement and manage a number of programs concurrently.Ideally the person will have experience in the Direct Selling or Franchising industries and be use to working in a small team environment with a hands-on approach.Job Responsibilities: Business Development (60%)Personally recruit and develop distributors and customers to expand the Australian business and accelerate sales growth.Plan, co-ordinate and implement ongoing recruitment and product sales related activities e.g. face to face & online opportunity meetings/company seminars/business meetings/business and health expos and other activities/events to meet agreed upon targets.Sustain rapport with your own personally sponsored distributors and groups by having direct contact and exploring specific needs, anticipating new opportunities and new areas for expansion.Actively participate in discussions with the Country Manager and Regional Business Development Manager to communicate updates/feedback from the field.Marketing (30%) Create, implement and manage Marketing and Sales strategies/programs to increase brand awareness of Sunrider and our product range to the Australian consumer market to grow our customer data-base and increase overall sales.Researching, analysing and summarising Australian/New Zealand market data, cultural trends/ethic groups that will be used in ongoing company programs to grow our customer data-base and generate sales.Training & Reporting (10%) Conduct training programs such as but not limited to (business building, compensation plan training, customer development and product as needed) to Distributors ensuring compliance with company’s direction and growth.Implement Regional Leadership development trainings and initiatives.Provide feedback from the field and submit market intelligence reports to the management in a consistent and timely manner for further improvement.Ideal Job Qualification Requirements: Minimum three years (3) years’ experience in the Direct Sales/Network Marketing or Franchising industries.Experience in a Direct-to-Consumer organisation with a focus on business development and increasing sales revenue.Have strong on trend marketing skills/experience (Social-Media, SEO, Website management, email marketing) and managing multiple programs/projects.Extensive understanding and knowledge of the Australian market, culture and business/consumer behaviours.Proficient in fluent English (a second language ideal but not essential)Have existing networks and/or relationships that you have developed and nurtured over your career to leverage new business and growth opportunities.A very pro-active individual with a deep level of commitment to make a positive impact and to achieve both personal, team & company’s goals.Proven ability to leverage relationships to drive results in sales, leadership development and team building.Excellent sales, communication and presentation skillsKnowledge and experience in the health and wellness sector is a plusAbility to work weekends and evenings as and when requiredIntra and Inter-state travel as per business requirementsGreat team player
