KDN helps to enable growth, improve economies of scale, and discover new ways of collaboration and working.Job DescriptionAs part of the KPMG Delivery Network (KDN), the Direct Tax Manager will lead the delivery of corporate tax compliance reporting services across multiple jurisdictions. This role involves managing a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining compliance with global tax regulations. Car allowance What you’ll do Lead and manage the direct tax and stats team, ensuring alignment with service delivery standards.Review complex corporate tax returns and statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.Implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and compliance.Provide technical guidance and resolve escalated tax issues.Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.Communicates with internal teams and supports client-facing activities.Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and support career development.Stay current with tax legislation and regulatory changes.Represent the team in strategic meetings and contribute to planning discussions.Monitor changes in tax legislation, accounting principles, and industry trends and assess impact on the organization.Provide tax insights and recommendations to support business decisions. What you’ll bring Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related.5+ years of experience in direct tax compliance2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.Strong understanding of international tax regulations and compliance frameworks.English B2+Portuguese (Preferred) Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.Experience in shared services or multinational environments is a plus.Emotional intelligence and interpersonal sensitivity.Adaptability to change and evolving regulations.Process improvement and automation mindset.Stakeholder management across departments and regions.Strategic planning aligned with business goals.KDN is inclusive!Everyone brings a unique perspective.
