Job Description

Job Purpose:To plan, design, and implement an integrated compliance program for ARDARA and monitor the implementation of compliance policies and guidelines across the organization ensure adherence to the governance practices stated in the corporate governance manual.Job-Specific Accountabilities:Develop, maintain, and continuously improve an integrated compliance program for ARDARA to ensure adherence to the internal governance manual and the external (local and global) regulatory jurisdictions.Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a compliance management framework for ARDARA that is in line with regulations, industry mandates, and leading practices.Design ARDARA’s Delegation of Authority matrix and identify compliance obligations to clarify the various authorities, enable decision-making, and facilitate the compliance process.Develop and implement a risk-based compliance monitoring process to identify, assess, and report compliance risks and appropriate mitigation approaches.Conduct periodic awareness sessions and workshops and frequently communicate with all functions across the organization to ensure awareness of compliance policies, processes, and relevant updates on external regulatory requirements.Monitor and review the internal and external environment in order to identify opportunities for improvements on ARDARA’s compliance procedures, systems, and controls.Technical Competencies:Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirementsRisk managementPolicy developmentCompliance auditingQualification:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is desirable.Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is desirable.Compliance certification (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional) is desirable.Years of Experience:14+ years of professional experience in Compliance in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (preferably in a development company).
