Director - DFC (Dubai Fitness Challenge)

JOB OBJECTIVE:To lead the end-to-end planning and management of Dubai Fitness Challenge, including the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns that will ensure Dubai is recognized as a global wellness destination. in line with government initiatives, mandates, and Dubai Tourism's overarching strategic objectives.Functional Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of Dubai Fitness Challenge, ensuring alignment with DET objective of promoting Dubai as a great place to live, work and visitLead the management and evaluation performance of partners, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure optimal contribution to DFRE objectives.Lead communication with key partners (sponsors, corporate stakeholders, venues, government, and industry) that will enable festival effectiveness, implementation, and strategy in line with overall objectives.Lead the seamless integration of marketing and communications strategy and implementation to ensure overall DFC objectives and KPIs are realized.Manage the festival budget and resources through advanced resource planning techniques to optimize spending and allocation of resources against priority areas.Oversee the development of ad hoc reports, with the aim of utilizing insights to enable executive decision-making on future festival strategies.Address concerns or instances of underperformance by internal or external entities, partners, or providers to mitigate risks and ensure optimal project/festival outcomes.Oversee and approve buying/procurement requirements in line with project/festival spend objectives and budget guidelines.Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement, and guide the development of new concepts and ideas for events and partnerships to be implemented during DFCDevelop an annual fitness program outside of DFC to support the development and growth of relevant industries in Dubai.Ensure your own and your employees' adherence to all relevant environment, health, and safety policies and procedures to foster a culture of attention to health and safety that complies with the standards of DET.Comply with all DET Code of Conduct clauses to ensure a positive office environment that fosters respect, professionalism, happiness, and transparency. Lead by example and ensure any acts of noncompliance with DET code are addressed appropriately.Maintain the highest level of confidentiality by practicing information security protocols and remain abreast of new threats, risks, or breaches of security that can jeopardize your own or a colleague's security and confidentiality.
