Entrust Group is looking for Director - Production (Denim Woven Garments)Job Description / ResponsibilityJob Context: Entrust Fashions Ltd., a fast-growing woven garment manufacturer specialized in woven denim-bottom products, is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Director-Production to lead our production operations. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production processes, achieving shipment deadlines, maintaining quality standards, optimizing manpower, and ensuring compliance with buyer requirements along with optimizing Cost Per Minute (CPM) and maximizing Earnings Per Minute (EPM).Job ResponsibilitiesLead, plan, and monitor sewing & overall production to meet shipment targets.Collaborate closely with the Production, Planning and IE (Industrial Engineering) teams to ensure production targets are achieved within planned timelines and efficiency standards.Ensure all Production Managers (PMs) and line supervisors execute daily operations according to the approved production plan.Monitor and analyze production efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Control production costs, minimize wastage, and optimize resources to improve CPM.Drive initiatives to maximize EPM through line balancing, process improvement, and resource optimization.Analyze production data and prepare reports on KPIs: line efficiency, CPM, EPM, wastage %, manpower utilization, and cost per unit.Strictly and efficiently handle the outsourcing work especially Wash, Print and Embroidery.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, Lean manufacturing practices, and digital adoption for production optimization.Develop and implement production policies, systems, and SOPs to enhance operational discipline and coordination among departments.Maintain strong workplace discipline, compliance, and safety standards in-line with buyer audits and internal code of conducts.Lead worker motivation programs to improve efficiency, attendance, and overall productivity.Maintain alignment and communication among all departments related to production- Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, IE, Quality and other teams as required.Ensure quality consistency and timely delivery of all orders.Maintain strict monitoring during shipment periods to prevent loss, errors, or delays.Ensure strict compliance with buyer standards, audits, and code of conduct.Supervise and coordinate with store and inventory departments (finished goods, fabric, accessories, stationaries) for smooth material flow.Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to production management teams for performance enhancement.Prepare and present regular production reports to top management.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile EngineeringMaster of Science (MSc) in Textile EngineeringB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing & Technology / Industrial Engineering from any reputed institution.Postgraduate qualifications in Production Management or related fields will be considered an added advantage.Flexibility for highly deserving candidatesSkills Required: Production/ Operation Management, Garment productionExperience RequirementsAt least 15 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):GarmentsAdditional RequirementsAt least 5 years in a senior production leadership position (e.g., Production Head / Product Director / GM – Production/Operation).Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop large teams.Excellent understanding of production planning, line balancing, layout optimization, and efficiency improvement.Strategic thinker with a problem-solving approach.Proficiency in MS Excel, production data analysis.Strong knowledge in cutting, sewing, finishing, printing and embroidery operations, Denim fabric behavior, machine layout, and production management.Hands-on experience in production planning, CPM and EPM management.Proven experience in handling large workforce in production & sewing.Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Track record of improving line productivity, CPM reduction, and EPM enhancement.The candidate must be well-acquainted with the technology relating to garments manufacturing automation systems.Job LocationDhaka (Uttara West)
