Our core services include Business Tax, Global Mobility, Indirect Tax, Global Transfer Pricing, Global Trade Compliance and Tax Technology delivered by our professionals, who are known for their technical acumen and business insights to deliver exceptional client service.Through your work, you’ll build a global network and unlock opportunities that you may not have thought possible with access to great support, vast resources, and an inclusive, supportive environment to help you reach your full potential.Role:•Proposed designation - Director•Role type - Supervisory•Reporting to – Associate PartnerRoles & responsibilitiesProject DeliveryExperienced in demonstrating project management, client management, process improvement, leadership, communication, relationship building, analytical, interpersonal, and organization skillsDemonstrating advanced understanding of Transfer Pricing principles and ability to guide the team to apply these on client projects with focus on quality and attention to detailExperienced to handle multiple engagements within the practice assigned and therefore must have the ability to manage competing prioritiesDemonstrating strong proficiency in effectively using and understanding applications and databases and work extensively with various technology toolsExperienced in the standardization of services leveraging technology, demonstrating continuous improvement of efficienciesExperienced in handling large and diverse teams of approx. 15 people or more. Experience with Global Delivery centers is preferred.Strong communicators, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to leadership and convey objectives to team membersPractice ManagementManage, support and participate in preparation of global transfer pricing compliance engagements on a global scaleAssist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues and to project leadersDisplay general knowledge of engagement “big picture”Assist stakeholders to expand the current business offerings and identify additional opportunities to work with other KPMG practicesBuild strong internal relationships within the global transfer pricing practicesContribute and motivate team members toward achievement of team goals. Help defining team structure (including remote teams outside India).Help designing process optimization and opportunities for tech solutions.Identify knowledge gaps and initiate strategies to fill them, keeping teams abreast of new service methodologies, tools and technologies and providing suggestions for their applicationsDevelop, mentor and supervise Analysts, Seniors, Assistant Managers and ManagersConduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staffHelp define learning gaps and work with sub-service line leaders and local L&D to define and deploy a process to bridge the learning gapFoster collaboration and constructive communication within the teamTake ownership of the team’s schedule, plan for it and proactively seek work when necessary to meet the utilization goalsContribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training transfer pricing professionals, setting strategy for how work is assigned and performed under the guidance of the reporting managerMaintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis, taking the initiative to seek continuous learning opportunities, coaching and mentoring feedback, key developmental experiences, self-directed learning and formal learningAdhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistentlyEducational qualifications Master's degree in any stream / an advanced degree in economics, law, finance, tax or accounting; a CPA or similar certificationAdditional Degree/ Diploma/Specialization in fields related to International Taxation, Financial Instruments Market, Specialization in Quantitative Finance will be an added advantageWork experienceMinimum 16 years of experience in transfer pricing, ideally within a professional services firm or a large multinational corporation.Proven track record in:Developing and implementing transfer pricing policiesManaging documentation including functional and economic analysesHandling audits and disputes with tax authoritiesAdvising on intercompany transactions involving services, intangibles, and financial arrangements 2Experience in project management, especially in leading complex, cross-border transfer pricing projectsPreferred technical & functional skillsStrong communicator, exhibiting inclusive behavior in interactions with internal & external stakeholdersProcess-focused mindset, with ability to align teams to consistent ways of working to meet organizational objectivesAbility to motive others and manage team dynamics to lead a healthy functioning teamStrong technical and analytical skills to deliver high-quality client deliverables in an efficient mannerAptitude for learning, adopting and promoting new technologiesKey behavioral attributes/requirementsExceptional communication skills and strong Analytical ability.Target driven and customer focus.Solution focus mindsetAttention to detail - Quality and time consciousWork collaboratively with the clients and deliver quality services by enforcing quality and KPMG standards.
