Job Description
Job purpose:The role holder is responsible for managing the organization’s contracts portfolio, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that contracts are executed efficiently and effectively. The role holder shall carry out the duties in accordance with the business policies and procedures.Core Responsibility Areas:Manage the entire lifecycle of commercial and procurements contracts, including reviewing contract terms, negotiating contracts with external partiesDraft and review customer contracts, subcontractsManage contracts administration (invoicing etc.).Drafts & Review all types of agreements.Support bids and proposals in developing and managing proposalsReview the Requests of Proposals (RFPs) for the T&Cs.Evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiating proposal terms.Support business units to understand their contract needs and provide strategic advice on contract terms and conditions.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, to gather and analyze customer requirements, conduct risk assessments, and develop tailored solutions.Support all division commercial activitiesEnsure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Ensure compliance with applicable export control and ITAR requirements.Provide support throughout all project life-cycle.Provide Awareness and advise on trade control and ITAR regulations.Ensure compliance with SAMI policies, procedures and applicable requisitions in all assigned activities.Perform other responsibilities and tasks as required.Key Technical Competencies:Contract NegotiationCommercial & Contract Management Risk ManagementVendor/Client ManagementCommercial & Contract Conceptualization & DraftingDocument Management & ControlBusiness Acumen & Commercial DriveQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in legal or relevant fieldExperience:12 years of professional experience in Contracts & Trade Control or related fields.
