About the CompanyOur client is a global leader in Data Center.Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned and certified Data Center Operations Director to lead our mission-critical facilities in Seoul. This role is responsible for overseeing the operational integrity, efficiency, and scalability of our data center infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 uptime, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a proactive mindset to drive operational excellence across our Korean footprint.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all aspects of data center operations including facilities, security, capacity planning, and vendor management.Ensure 100% uptime and SLA compliance through robust monitoring, incident response, and preventive maintenance.Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and best practices aligned with global standards.Oversee critical systems: electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire suppression, and BMS.Manage and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.Collaborate with global teams on capacity planning, sustainability, and compliance initiativesDrive continuous improvement in energy efficiency, PUE, and operational KPIs.Lead audits and ensure compliance with ISO, Uptime Institute, and other regulatory frameworks.Manage vendor contracts, service level agreements, and procurement for facility servicesServe as escalation point for major incidents and coordinate root cause analysis and resolution.Qualifications & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in data center operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) is mandatory.Additional certifications such as CDCS (Certified Data Centre Specialist), CDFOM (Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager), PMP, ITIL, or Uptime ATD are highly desirable.Strong technical knowledge of critical infrastructure systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire suppression.Experience with DCIM tools, BMS platforms, and operational monitoring systems.Fluent in both English and Korean, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-pressure environments.Familiarity with ESG and sustainability metrics is a plus.Please contactMay Papatsrain01092137829may.papatsarin@adecco.com
