The Director will work closely with sales leadership to understand their account mix and sales opportunities in order to align the Enterprise Architecture team to the region’s top sales priorities.Your ResponsibilitiesThe Enterprise Architecture Director will:Strategically partner with Sales Leadership to drive scale, innovate, and deliver exceptional quarterly and annual growth across the sales teams.Build a high-performing team of Enterprise Architects by creating a collaborative and supportive culture where the team drives innovation and delivers the best work in their careers.Hire inclusively, nurture talent, and invest in ongoing employee development & career progression.Be a player-coach, actively working with their team members to solve difficult problems, and coordinate corporate/external resources when required.Be an executive sponsor for customer conversations and engagements identified by your sales partnersBe an evangelist to various internal stakeholders and create meaningful collaboration strategies to enable a team selling environment. With external customers, the Director will strive to build relationships with IT and Business executives.Manage large and medium scale projects/initiatives requiring complex cross-functional collaborationPossess the following Leadership Qualities:TRUST: Able to learn the trust of external and internal stakeholders through a commitment to transparency, empathy, and candid communicationSERVANT LEADER: Commitment to“Be of Service” to your team members & inspire a mindset of constant professional & personal growthINNOVATIVE: Relentlessly seeking to create “what could be” vs maintaining “what is”COLLABORATIVE & INCLUSIVE: Cultivate a safe environment where different points of view are shared & the best ideas move forwardRequired SkillsProficient with CRM technologies (or other Enterprise business applications) and be able to present to an executive audience of both business and technology leaders.Extensive pre-sales experience is required.Experience in Enterprise Architecture concepts and methodologies.Strong Enterprise transformation experience including Business-IT alignment and establishing operating models for implementation success.The Director must be able to support the Sales team by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as a represent their team's needs to Salesforce executives.Strong verbal and written communications skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, and business justification. The Director should be able to communicate equally with internal resources such as Product Marketing and Sales Management and Customers to gain commitment and support.Flexibility and adaptability is paramount.Desired SkillsPrior pre-sales management experience is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.For roles in San Francisco and Los Angeles: Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
