And because we are local, we provide the deepest variety and services that are tailor-made for Thai people.The Director/Head of Risk & Portfolio is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end credit risk lifecycle. You will oversee the design of underwriting policies that drive volume and the analytical monitoring of the existing portfolio to ensure long-term profitability and predictability.What You’ll Do:1. Underwriting & Policy OversightRisk Budget Optimization: Define and manage the risk budget, focusing on optimizing usage to meet business targets rather than simply minimizing riskCredit Decision Logic: Own the development and refinement of approval rules, credit cut-offs, limit assignments, and pricing logicTop-of-Funnel Monitoring: Continuously monitor the "through-the-door" applicant mix to ensure the incoming applications and bookings align with the policy and detect any drifts2. Portfolio Strategy & ManagementHealth & Predictability: Ensure the overall loan portfolio remains healthy and performs within risk appetite and forecasts.Performance Analytics: Oversee the tracking of critical metrics, including vintages, roll-rates, customer segments, and score bands.Strategy Calibration: Lead the recommendation process for when to "tighten" or "expand" credit policies based on real-time portfolio performanceForecasting Accuracy: Take full accountability for the accuracy of portfolio's performance forecasts to work closely with the P&L owner3. Strategic LeadershipCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Business/Commercial lead to co-own product policies that enable healthy growth within risk-adjusted marginGovernance: Participate in the governance framework, providing expert risk-based perspectives for high-level decision-makingWhat You’ll Need:10+ years of experience in Credit Risk Management, specifically within unsecured lending or fintech environmentsDeep expertise in credit bureau data, scoring models, and portfolio vintage analysisProven commercial competency to drive "Risk-Adjusted Margin" rather than just loss avoidanceExperience managing multi-functional teams (Policy and Portfolio Analytics)
