ResponsibilitiesThe Director, HR Optimization will serve as the strategic enabler for the Senior Vice President [SVP] of Human Resources.

This individual will lead and coordinate key strategic initiatives, optimize operational effectiveness across the HR space, and ensure cross-functional alignment on critical priorities. This role will serve as a central liaison between the SVP and internal/external stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and efficient execution of organizational objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Partnership with ExecutiveServes as a trusted advisor and thought partner for the SVP by influencing and managing the strategic priorities, operational plans and agenda of the organization. Develops expert knowledge of SVP’s area of ownership; triages requests, filters priorities, represents and provides direction on behalf of the SVP.

Manages requests for plans, presentations, speaking engagements and board assignments. Leads the preparation and creation of effective communications and presentations; develops compelling and engaging content that is consumable by all audiences. Strategic Planning & ExecutionPartners with senior leadership to develop strategic goals, tactics and measures that are aligned with organizational priorities; facilitates alignment of HR leaders to ensure all initiatives and tactics support HR’s overall goals. Serves as direct point of contact and collaborator for the system strategy team.

Maintains an understanding of progress on key initiatives, identifies potential risks, prioritizes information flow, proactively removes barriers, facilitates solutions, and highlights issues requiring senior leadership intervention. Synthesizes information into insights that inform business decisions, leverages expertise to influence leaders across the organization. Advisory & ConsultationProvides thought partnership and alternative thinking to HR leaders; leads thoughtful discernment before implementing change by assessing impact, risk, readiness and value. Solves strategic or operational problems in ambiguous or rapidly changing areas; identifies the root cause/issue and sources, customizes or creates solutions.

Leadership, Collaboration & Relationship ManagementDesigns practices, systems and tools to ensure alignment and integration among HR leaders and their work; ensures transparency of strategic and operational plans, communications, and other activities across HR. Collaborates across HR, system functions and ministry markets to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and strategic initiatives. Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of direct report(s) as required. RequirementsEducation:

High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'sdegree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those yearsbeing in leadership/management. Additional Preferences7-10 years of experience, ideally in healthcare strategy, program management, and/or business operations. Demonstrated ability to navigate extreme ambiguity, respond adeptly to rapidly changing priorities, and maintain commitment to high-quality work product. Blend of strong business judgment, empathy, attention to detail, and grace under pressure. Experience in building trusted advisor relationships and influencing others.
