We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.Skills And CompetenciesMinimum 10 years of experience in the banking industry or banking consulting servicesFamiliarity with the regional and global banking regulatory landscape and market trendsHands on experience in credit risk modeling, lending decisioning and workflows, portfolio management, stress testing, climate risk management and stress testing as well as Gen AI use cases in bankingExcellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively as part of C-suite and Board discussions. Public speaking experience is preferred including the ability to effectively communicate complex, technical issues to non-expert audiencesComfortable in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates the ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environmentBasic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical useEducation Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar fieldResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced professional to serve as an Industry Practice Lead (IPL) in Banking based in our Singapore office. The ideal candidate will possess considerable experience and deep technical expertise and will serve as a technical liaison to our clients and prospects.In this role, you will be responsible for establishing credibility and confidence in Moody’s products with prospective clients through sales activities, thought leadership, and industry engagement. You will identify our clients’ needs and lead solution design to address these needs. You will also work with our internal partners to define the Moody’s value proposition, facilitate go-to-market activities such as internal training, and support product development.Driving sales and customer engagement:Act as a trusted advisor with senior stakeholders and client C-Suit to maintain existing relationships and foster new onesBring subject matter expertise and support clients’ interpretation and application of Moody’s SolutionsManage client proposals and use industry best practices to elevate the impact of proposals and proof of conceptsDesign, develop and execute market outreach strategy for key themes (together with sales, marketing and strategy teams)Effectively collaborate within the sales groups, including the Relationship Managers, Solution Specialists and the relevant product teamsMarket feedback for product development:Routinely translate emerging market themes and regulatory requirements into product requirements, building a business case to future proof our solutionsSystematically gather and share client feedback with segment Product, and other relevant internal groups and Center of Excellence (CoE), with the aim of driving the development of business of Moody’s products and offeringsWork closely with the Product, CoEs and Moody’s Sales teams to promote quality improvement and the development of new solutions and sources of revenueInternal coordination and engagement:Play a key role as part of Banking solutions go-to-market and sales strategyDrive preparation of market insight and competitiveness content to create awareness of Moody’s expertise internallyServe as an informal coach and expert to sales professionals, customer success teams, and market strategistsConduct training sessions on customer use cases, workflows, and personasOther Requirements:Travel required within ASEAN (up to 50%)About The TeamThe Industry Practice Group is comprised of practitioners, former regulators and subject matter experts, specializing in domains such as lending, physical and transitional risk, financial crime compliance, generative AI and banking regulatory frameworks. Industry Practice Leads are responsible for advising existing and prospective customers across a broad range of workflows. Industry Practice Leads also collaborate with internal teams and interface with internal stakeholders such as product, research, partnerships, advisory, and customer success teams to align Moody’s solutions to the industry challenges.
