Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleThis is an accounting leadership role within a blue-chip US multi-national technology company.As an International Controller, you will be a senior accounting team member, leading a dynamic team of accountants in different countries and reporting into the Senior Director of International Accounting. The main purpose of this job is to lead the International Accounting team, ensuring the team provides accurate and compliant monthly accounting and reporting information under US GAAP and ensuring compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory filings for multiple countries. You will also provide business partnering support to the Finance organizationWorking hours: The role may involve meetings between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM CET, depending on cross-regional collaboration needs. However, this does not imply continuous work throughout the day - we promote a balanced schedule and flexibility in managing your time.Location: Poznan, PolandBenefits: annual bonus, private health care, Multisport card/Multicafeteria, lunchpass card, life insurance (voluntary), PPK (voluntary), English & Polish classes, Company Social Benefits Fund, working abroad policyThe Main ResponsibilitiesManage and proactively develop a team of accounting professionals based in various international locationsMember of the International Leadership team providing business partner supportOwnership of financial compliance including but not limited to the following: Statutory Reporting – timely statutory and tax filings for legal entities. License reporting. Account reconciliations – fully compliant with Corporate standards. Journal entries - fully compliant with Corporate standards. Compliance with Corporate and Jurisdictional control standards. Ownership of accounting and reporting responsibilities under US GAAP, including monthly management reportingWhat We Look For In a CandidateQualified Chartered Accountant with significant post-qualification experienceExperience of working within a global, multi-currency organisationStrong knowledge of core accounting principles – US GAAP or IFRS Experience working with SAP or similar ERP e.g. OracleCommercially astute, with good planning / organising skills.High attention to detail with a motivation to succeed in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and a desire to grow in a real team environment that has a flat structure Ability to effectively partner with BusinessWhat To Expect NextRequisition #: 340396The above job definition information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
