The NFL International Media Group is seeking a Director of International Media Business Development to help grow the company through extending the reach of our media partnerships throughout the world. This person will focus on deepening relationships with current partners, identification and development of new business opportunities, as well as the formation of strategic partnerships and alliances.Working closely with NFL offices around the world, the Director will be expected to help develop strategies approaches to expand the NFL’s international media business in both the short and long-term.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, negotiate and manage strategic relationships with media partners globallyIdentify new business opportunities including expansion of new products across various mediums of telecast/platformsConduct financial analyses and develop proposals to evaluate new business opportunitiesSupport media team and international offices (London, Toronto, Mexico City, Beijing and Tokyo) in preparing market analysis, strategic business objectives and revenue projections for media negotiations.Maintain market intelligence on media and sports rights globallyTrack viewing trends of NFL content internationallyOversee revenue and production budgets for international programming and servicesClient/partnership managementContribute to strategy development effortsCreate and make strategic presentations to senior executives inside and outside the organizationRequired QualificationsMinimum 8-10 years work experience in a corporate strategy role at a leading media company / sports organization, and/or experience in consulting or financial serviceBachelor’s degree, with an MBA preferredOther Key Attributes / CharacteristicsExperience and understanding of the media industry and key trends within the media landscapeExperience in sports industry preferredClient managementAdept at negotiating sound commercial agreements and possessing a solid understanding of contracts, particularly licensing arrangementsUnderstanding of financial analysis and modelingProven ability to think strategically and analyticallyAbility to create and make strategic and deal related presentations to senior managementDesire to work within culturally diverse settingsA team player who is capable of interacting and working cross-functionally in a multi-function organizationStrong organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projectsExperience in managing a small teams of varying experience levelsRelationships within the media industryKnowledge of business landscape in Asia preferredMultiple language skills a plusSalary / Pay RangeThis job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified.
