Job Description

The Director of Marketing Analytics will lead a team of data analysts and partner closely with marketing teams—including Consumer Marketing, SMB Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Planning—to drive key business objectives such as active user growth and revenue enhancement through advanced AI and analytics. This role is dedicated to enabling smarter, data-driven decisions that fuel acquisition, retention, and growth across both consumer and SMB segments.The director will provide strategic insights to optimize marketing spend and distribution, deepen our understanding of customer behaviour, and lead initiatives that translate analytics into measurable business outcomes. This position requires a blend of hands-on analytical expertise, strategic vision, and strong cross-functional collaboration, reporting directly to the VP of AI and Analytics.Responsibilities Design, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns by leveraging data-driven insights to maximize ROI and achieve business goals. Conduct comprehensive web analytics to monitor user behaviour and engagement, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Develop and maintain predictive models for customer lifecycle management, marketing attribution, and segmentation to enhance targeting and personalization strategies Build and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making by senior leadership Ensure data integrity and consistent definitions across reporting platforms to enable trusted decision-making at all levels of the organization Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of data analysts Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages continuous learning and growthQualifications 8+ years of experience in analytics or 4-5 years of experience with a relevant advanced degree, with a strong background in the payments industry. Proven expertise in building and deploying predictive models and dashboards using tools like SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Power BI Deep understanding of customer lifecycle metrics, including acquisition, engagement, retention, and churn analysis Strong ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving change through data insights and strategic recommendations Experience leading a high-performing team, with excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience with global payment systems, e-commerce platforms, and financial technologies preferred
