You will set strategic priorities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive best-in-class ways of working that enable our medical field teams to translate strategy into meaningful action.This is a highly independent role where you’ll act as a strategic advisor, change leader, and data-driven decision-maker – ensuring that Medical Affairs excellence is consistently embedded across EUCAN markets.Among your key responsibilities:Elevate medical frontline operations: Define and implement strategic priorities for medical field force excellence, covering structure, engagement planning, targeting, and productivity.Drive CRM excellence: Champion better data quality, analytics, and CRM usage across EUCAN affiliates to enable insight-driven decision-making.Translate strategy into action: Convert EUCAN Medical Affairs objectives into clear, actionable frontline plans – ensuring alignment, tracking, and follow-up.Leverage insights cross-functionally: Create structured processes for capturing and utilizing medical insights to inform both medical and commercial strategies.Build capabilities: Identify skill gaps across affiliates and design regional capability-building initiatives to strengthen medical frontliner performance.Promote a data-driven culture: Define key metrics for medical excellence and foster a culture of insights-based performance improvement.Act as a sparring partner: Challenge constructively, share best practices, and act as a trusted advisor to affiliate and leaders within Medical Affairs.Your new departmentYou will be part of the Customer Engagement department, where we are dedicated to fostering meaningful connections with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. Based at our headquarters, you’ll join a diverse and innovative team committed to making a difference in the lives of patients worldwide.Your Skills & QualificationsYou are a visionary Medical Affairs professional with the ability to turn strategy into execution and data into insight. You inspire others through your ability to lead change and create impact across complex, crossfunctional networks.You’ll succeed in this role if you have:M.D., Ph.D., or M.Sc. in a relevant scientific field.Minimum 8 years of experience in Medical Affairs, including 3–5 years in field medical or medical excellence roles.Proven experience leading crossfunctional projects and implementing change management between regional and affiliate levels.Strong understanding of frontline medical realities (e.g., RMAs/MSLs) and Medical Affairs business drivers in the cardiometabolic space.Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.Advanced analytical, communication, and project management capabilities.Working at Novo NordiskEvery day we seek the solutions that defeat serious chronic diseases.
