It has been consistently acknowledged by industry rankings and awards for technological leadership, sustainability strategy, and organisational excellence.Dedicated to advancing a sustainable energy future, my client continues to expand into new markets, strengthen key partnerships, and develop next-generation clean power technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentDefine and implement commercial strategies to expand market presence in Germany and EuropeIdentify and secure new opportunities in solar, energy storage, and hybrid energy systemsConduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to support decision-makingProject ManagementLead end-to-end delivery of key solar and storage projects from development through executionEnsure projects meet budget, timeline, quality, and regulatory requirementsIdentify and mitigate commercial, technical, financial, and operational risksStrategic PartnershipsBuild and maintain strong relationships with developers, EPCs, utilities, IPPs and key industry stakeholdersNegotiate commercial agreements supporting long-term business growthAct as a senior contact for major clients and partnersRepresentation & Market EngagementRepresent the business at industry events, trade fairs, and sector conferencesDevelop presence and positioning through networking and partnershipsPerformance LeadershipMonitor commercial initiative performance and implement strategic improvementsWork closely with international teams to align strategy and share best practicesCandidate RequirementsEducation & ExperienceDegree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy or related discipline (MBA beneficial)At least 7 years’ experience in business development and project leadership within the solar and/or storage sectorTechnical KnowledgeStrong understanding of PV systems, energy storage solutions and European regulatory frameworksSkills & CompetenciesProven leadership experience managing cross-functional teamsStrong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilitiesStrategic and results-oriented mindsetLanguages & TravelFluent German and English required; other European languages a plusWillingness to travel across Germany and Europe regularly
