Director of Cloud

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Cloud to lead a high-performing team within a major technology organisation. You’ll be responsible for defining and delivering the Cloud strategy, managing operations across Azure and AWS, and driving innovation, performance, and financial accountability.This is a senior leadership role with a strong focus on service excellence, continuous improvement, and evolving the organisation’s cloud capabilities in a fast-moving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the Cloud Services function, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.Oversee the design, delivery, and optimisation of multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS).Partner closely with infrastructure and hosting leaders to ensure seamless hybrid service delivery.Drive efficiency and resilience through data-driven insights and operational reporting.Manage budgets, performance, and Cloud FinOps across the portfolio.Act as the senior escalation point for Cloud Services and ensure compliance with governance and security frameworks.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.About YouDeep expertise in public cloud technologies, particularly Azure and AWS.Proven experience leading large-scale Cloud operations or transformation initiatives.Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on people development and inclusivity.Excellent commercial and financial management, including Cloud FinOps.Strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic, evolving technology landscape.
