Director of Data Center and Enterprise SalesApto Solutions is seeking an accomplished Director of ITAD Business Development with extensive experience in selling data center and enterprise hardware to Fortune 500 customers. This key client-facing, consultative role is ideal for a strategic sales professional who can leverage deep industry expertise and enterprise relationships to position Apto Solutions as the premier ITAD partner for global organizations.The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate hardware refresh cycles, decommissioning projects, and sustainable IT asset disposition strategies that protect data, mitigate risk, and maximize value recovery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a business development strategy focused on Fortune 500 enterprises with large-scale data center and IT infrastructure environments.Leverage established relationships with enterprise clients to introduce and expand Apto’s ITAD services.Engage executive stakeholders and technical teams to promote secure, compliant, and sustainable IT asset disposition solutions.Lead strategic initiatives to convert enterprise and data center hardware relationships into long-term ITAD partnerships.Collaborate with clients on hardware lifecycle strategies, including decommissioning, resale, recycling, and secure data destruction.Work cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and sustainability teams to deliver tailored ITAD programs for complex enterprise environments.Represent Apto Solutions at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings as a thought leader in ITAD and hardware lifecycle management.Educate clients on the data security, environmental, and compliance risks associated with improper disposition of sensitive IT equipment.Mentor and lead a high-performing business development team to drive revenue growth and expand Apto’s presence across enterprise sectors.Qualifications5+ years of enterprise or data center hardware sales experience.3+ years of experience working with large financial institutions, healthcare, big-tech, oil and gas, or asset management companies.Proven success selling to Fortune 500 clients and developing long-term enterprise partnerships.Established relationships and direct engagement with enterprise decision-makers responsible for IT infrastructure, data centers, and asset lifecycle management.Deep understanding of data center and enterprise hardware, including servers, storage systems, and networking technologies.Strong knowledge of data security, environmental, and compliance standards related to IT asset disposition.Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.Experience in ITAD, recycling, or lifecycle management is a plus but not required.
